"Oh, hi"
Born in the late 80s to a Mexican couple in Ventura, California, my early years were rooted Between Ojai and Oxnard. My childhood was marked by the constant shuffle around Ventura County due to financial challenges. Eventually, my parents, sister and I found stability in Oak View. It was there that I discovered the rarity of having my own room, relishing it as a haven. During those days, I gladly traded homework for a paintbrush, immersing myself in hours of drawing and painting.

"Aha"
I've always been into art, drawing, and computers. But the real "aha" moment happened 04' sophomore year in highschool school when I signed up for this cool new class called Graphic Design. Seeing what you could do with Adobe programs Photoshop, Illustrator blew my mind. It unlocked a world of endless possibilities. My love for Graphic Design flourished.

"Local Designer"
I graduated from Brooks Institute in 2013 and spent nine years working at the advertising agency, Evans Hardy and Young, in Santa Barbara. During my time there, I honed my skills in branding and advertising, working on high-profile campaigns.
Now as a freelance graphic designer and proud Ojai local, my art is deeply inspired by the magic of this legendary place. I personally design and screenprint all my apparel and tote bags from home, ensuring every piece captures the true essence of Ojai.

"That's me"
I'm all about those little design surprises-the 'easter eggs' that make you go, 'Wait, did you see that?' Yep, that's my style: leaving behind tiny treasures for the eagle-eyed among you.
I even created a Local Pocket Map myself, funding its printing through advertisements from local Ojai businesses. Keep an eye out for the map around town. Learn some of the stories and legends of this historical town and discover new businesses you might not have known about.
